Thank you to all Members who played at The Lakes on Saturday 14th November and helped to raised $2,620 for Legacy!
Particular congratulations to Paul Bedbrook who won the silent auction for a group of four to play at Elanora Country Club with a bid of $700. Paul had the largest of the three bids received from Members, thank you to all that participated.
The best 4BBB score of the day went to Geoff Henry and Alexander Horowitz with 52 points, whilst the winning single score of the day was new Member James Macaskill with 45 points. Congratulations also to former Club Captain Stan Conner (pictured on the left in photo with Club Captain Stuart Beck) who won the AIF Cup, with a fabulous score of 39 points, winning by four points from Bhasker Nair. The AIF Cup is for all Members who returned from active service with the Australian armed forces including Army Reserves. Stan’s story is that he spent five years in the Army Reserves after being listed in 1959 at the Arncliffe Base. Congratulations Stan and thank you for your service.
The best 9 hole score of the day went to Jan Davis with 20 points on the front nine!
