Club Championships 2022

All four men’s grades and both women’s grades of the Championships will require entry by registration on the relevant online registration sheet, with men having the option to select an a.m. or p.m. time. Registering a morning or afternoon field time may not result in a player receiving their preferred time period due to high levels of demand. All players wanting to compete in any grade in the men’s Club Championships must be available to play at any time each day. If the Club receives a high number of registrations for the Men’s Club Championship, a one tee start for the entire day will be required.

The handicap for entry is the player’s GA Handicap at the time the registration closes, being 28 August. The first round of qualifying for both men’s and women’s events will be seeded on handicap order, with round two of qualifying seeded on the score from the first round. The Conditions of Play for every Championship is available on the relevant registration sheet and on the front page of the website.

If you want to play in any of the Club Championship events, you must be fully committed to play on every scheduled date of both stroke play and match play. For example, male 7 Day Members wanting to play in this year’s Club Championship must be committed to be available to play at the Club on Saturday 24^th September, Saturday 1st  October, Saturday 8^th , Saturday 15^th, Sunday 16^th and Sunday 23rd October. If you are not committed to playing at the Club on every date, please do not book in. Those Members who register for the Club Championship and are subsequently unavailable for any of the aforementioned rounds will be required to meet with the Match Committee to explain why disciplinary action should not be applied.

Women’s Club Championships

Qualifying for the Women’s grades will be held on Sunday 25th September and Sunday 2nd October. This will include the Club, Bronze and Junior Girls Championships and the Argentum Salver. Matchplay for the Women’s Club and Bronze Championships will be held on the following Sundays, with the finals played on Sunday 23rd October.

This year’s 72 hole Medal will be played on Saturday 10th, 17th, 24th September and the final round on the 1st October.
