Director of Golf
Paul commenced at The Lakes in 2011 as a casual in the Golf Shop, and since then he went on to complete his PGA Traineeship at the Club in 2014.
After gaining his qualifications Paul was offered the position of Assistant Director of Golf, and was then promoted to Director of Golf in July 2017.
Paul is responsible for the entire golf operations of The Lakes, and works closely with Head Teaching Professional Christian Small in managing the Golf Academy.

Head Teaching Professional
Christian is a patient and understanding instructor who listens, teaches and guides his students in a way that harnesses what they have and shows them how to become the best they can be.
A PGA Member for over 20 years Christian has done it all, from coaching juniors and club members to play their best, to being a club-fitter on the Web.com Tour, and coaching PGA Tour winners around the world.
Christian brings a unique understanding of the game, the swing, and the person to every student’s lesson. His easy to understand communication style relates well to players of all ages and skill levels.
Charles is a devoted and passionate golfer, becoming a PGA Member over a decade ago. Focusing on his playing career early, Charles has experienced the highs of tournament golf competing in the Australian Masters, NSW Open and NSW PGA.
In 2010 Charles turned his focus to coaching, and has quickly built a reputation as a highly regarded instructor. This was solidified in 2013 when he was awarded the NSW PGA Teaching Professional of the year.
Charles has had great success with golfers of all levels, coaching club golfers to club championship wins along with Professional wins on international PGA Tours.
