EARL McGLINN

TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Earl McGlinn  has been a PGA of Australia Member since 2013, holding Advanced coaching status.  Earl has forever been a student of the game, and from an early age he has been immersed in the golfing world with his father Ray McGlinn a member of the Australian PGA for 40 years. Since picking up his first club, Earl has never stopped seeking more of what golf has to offer.

Prior to turning professional, Earl played amateur golf at the elite level having the opportunity to represent the State of NSW on multiple occasions. Now he works with the Golf NSW/JNJG Junior Squads as their development coach, and also works closely with the Golf NSW High Performance Program and is the current NSW State Team Coach.

He has worked closely with some of Golf Australia’s Rookie Professionals Teams over the past 5+ years as their Tour Caddy, including Dylan Perry, Grace Kim (winner of the TPS Sydney in 2021 and 2022) and most recently Harrison Crowe (winner of the 2022 NSW Open and 2023 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship).

Earl’s coaching philosophy is to help you as the golfer understand your own physical capabilities and limitations, as we all have our own physical blueprint which will help determine our individual swing, short game and putting style. With this in mind we can use technology to help us track progress and build performance based goals for all levels of players.
